Audrey came to the Healing Room for the Friday session wheezing badly with asthma. After receiving ‘soaking prayer’ her wheezing stopped and she was able to breathe deeply without effort. The next week she returned to receive more prayer and testified that she has been able to sleep through the night without further treatments!

Sandy was suffering from bone degeneration in her left foot. She had difficulty walking and was not able to walk up and down stairs. Sandy’s pain has gone and she is able to walk up and down stairs. She was also able to spend a day at Busch Gardens with her family and walk without pain or the aid of a wheelchair. Sandy said, "I  just kept saying thank you Jesus!"

Jackie was in pain suffering from a migraine headache. The healing room team laid hands on her and the Lord removed the pain from her head immediately. She left the room a ‘happy camper’!

Patricia was also in pain and had just come from the surgeon. She had considerable pain in her abdomen. The Lord moved mightily and quickly through the healing word and the laying on of hands. After just a few minutes, the pain lifted from her.

More Testimonies-Nursing Home

The amazing thing about the following testimonies is that all these people are in nursing homes and have been written off by society.  They are the forgotten ones and have no hope of ever recovering.  They enter nursing homes with the mindset that they will never be able to go home again.  But the Lord has an alternate plan if we desire to trust Him and press in to His promises. 

Ken

Ken has multiple sclerosis and his left hand is withered. He had never been able to lift or use it. The fingers on his hand were frozen. When we first started to minister to Ken he did not have a personal relationship with the Lord. We prayed together and he invited Jesus into his heart. Is. 53:4-5 was explained to him and he readily and joyfully received the full understanding of the all the benefits of the atonement. Just as Jesus had forgiven him of his sins and he now had eternal life, he also was healed by His stripes. He entered into the benefit of both promises the same way—by faith.

The next week when we came to the Bible Study, Ken proudly boasted in Jesus for healing his hand. He raised it and moved all the fingers for us all to see the work of God!

Ken is an elderly man who lives in a nursing home. God does not say that when you are old you need to get sick and be filled with pain in order to die. Fullness of days and an abundant life are His promises to those who fear Him!

Helen

Helen had a severe leg wound. The doctor told her it would require at least 6 months for recovery. We put a prayer cloth on her leg. The next day when the nurse removed the bandages the nurse screamed in astonishment and said, "Helen your leg is healed! I can’t believe it!" But Helen believed and was out of the hospital in a few weeks instead of the 6 months the doctors had predicted. Helen is now traveling the East Coast of the U.S. in a motor home with her husband and a little dog.  Long life and fullness of days is what our heavenly Father has promised!

Virginia

Virginia had been depressed for 3 years and she wouldn’t speak or look people in the eye.  After 2 years of laying hands on Virginia and praying for her she had this encounter with Jesus.

"Jesus came into my room as I was lying on my bed. He touched His hand to my throat and said, ‘Virginia you are healed. Get up and go tell everyone!’ " Virginia went into the dining hall and greeted everyone with a loud and happy "Good morning everyone!" They were all amazed at this new person standing before them.

Now the activity director brings all the depressed individuals to the Bible Study. In the past, she was always reluctant to bring the residents into the Bible Study but now we have her kind cooperation.
