Haven Glory Peck is a young woman born and raised most of her life in Clearwater, FL. She currently resides in Dunedin with her family and attends Flowing River Church, where her father is pastor. She is the oldest of 4 girls and was brought up in a wonderful, God fearing and loving home. Haven spent 3 yrs. of her early life living in the jungles of Mexico with her family as missionaries to the Mayan Indians. She began her dance training at an early age under the instruction of Miss Janet E. Beyer. Haven maintained her dance training while in the US and actively participated in the church dance group where she learned Davidic dance. Treasuring this gift of dance to be used only for God, she stepped out in the area of prophetic dance about 2 yrs. ago and has been dancing through this gift ever since. She was also part of the dance company In His Image, directed by Miss Janet Beyer, for 5 years. Haven's training consists of ballet, modern, jazz, pointe, Davidic dance and others. She has continued to use this gift to minister not only in the local area, however, abroad also. In 1999 she was invited to dance at a Christian conference in Norway and ministered on the streets of Norway as well. She was invited back in 2000 where she ministered every night of the 9-day conference in dance, and has been asked back for the 2001 conference. Furthermore, she has had the privilege of dancing in Israel, Mexico and across the US in places such as Idaho, Georgia, and Florida. She has also led workshops and taught in various capacities on several occasions. Haven is also very active in her father's church, working closely with the leadership and is actively involved in the youth ministries. Glory Steps Out Ministries was birthed in 2000 in Haven's desire to serve the Lord in the dance. Although she has been doing such over the last 20 yrs., the ministry formed from God's prompting to "step out" and help pioneer the road for the creative arts in revival. The first event GSOM put together was in the spring of 2000 in an event called Spring Break-Out 2000. This event, coordinated by Haven Peck, brought over 30 churches and ministries together across the Bay Area to minister on Clearwater Beach through the creative arts. Haven's heart is to continue in this ministry of the arts and to travel using this gift. In further obedience to God's voice, Haven is opening a School of the Arts in Clearwater in January of 2001. She prays this next step will further her vision to minister to the local area and the nations through the gift of dance and to equip people old and young alike in the arts. GSOM is available for ministry opportunities by calling (727) 215-2104 or (727) 461-1148. |
